Description & features
This thermocouple reference design provides a very simple and accurate method way to implement thermocouple measurement. This design included the necessary anti-aliasing filters and biasing circuit for sensor open diagnosing. This reference design also provides a novel way to achieve cold junction compensation using internal temperature in the AS1412 chip. For thermocouple linearization, the reference design also provides a very simple algorithm which can be implemented into popular MCUs in the market.
